KTRU programming features genres and/or artists who are underexposed or unavailable on, the Houston commercial radio dial. Our DJs bring a diverse mix of music to the airwaves, and promote local music. You can hear hard-to-find rock, pop, jazz, blues, indie, punk, electronic, soul and many more genres, as well as selections from our weekly top 35 list.
If you are interested in volunteering in becoming a DJ, KTRU accepts DJ applications on a regular basis.
